The 2008 Women’s Nike Friendlies wrapped up on Sunday in Carson, Calif., four days after more than 400 youth players ate breakfast while watching the U.S. Women’s National Team win the gold medal.
The U.S. U-15 Girls’ National Team continued their strong play at the 2008 Women’s Nike Friendlies with a second consecutive shutout, topping the U-17 Irvine Strikers on Friday.
Perhaps inspired by watching the U.S. Women win the gold media earlier in the day, the U.S. Under-15 Girls’ National Team topped FC DELCO 5-0 to open the 2008 Women’s Nike Friendlies.
